Designed as a single-player experience, the game challenges players to navigate the tense atmosphere inspired by the source material. It was specifically developed for the original 16K model of the ZX Spectrum.
In Russia, the game gained a notable following through numerous TR-DOS adaptations distributed on diskettes. Several versions were produced by groups such as Omen Group and Activator, including a Russian language translation.
