Dragon's Lair II is an action arcade game released in 1987 for the ZX Spectrum 48K by Empire Software. The title is based on the original coin-op arcade game licensed from the Leland Corporation.
The game is designed for a single player and focuses on fast-paced arcade action. It challenges players to navigate through dangerous environments and overcome various obstacles modeled after the arcade source material.
In Russia and the former Soviet Union, the game gained significant popularity due to numerous TR-DOS disk adaptations released throughout the nineties. Players often used POKE-codes for infinite lives, which were featured in local magazines like Emulate. Cracked versions of the game were also widely distributed on cassettes, including releases by Rudy and Bill Gilbert.
