The Golden Chalice is a text-only adventure game released in 1984 for the ZX Spectrum 48K. The game was created by Alan Davis and published by Argus Specialist Publications.
Designed as a single-player experience, the gameplay relies entirely on text commands to navigate the environment and solve puzzles.
In Russia, the game gained recognition through the efforts of local enthusiasts. Alexander and Mikhail Pavlyuk created a full Russian translation of the title. The game was also adapted for TR-DOS to run on diskettes and circulated via cracked cassette versions.
